1.Description of the Scheme :
The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to auto, taxi and maxi driver/owners yearly for maintenance expenses and for obtaining insurance and fitness certificates among other documents.
2.Functionary Responsible for Scheme Delivery:
Welfare & Education & Assistant -Village / Ward Welfare & Development Secretary – Ward
3.Eligibility Criteria:
The beneficiary must meet the following criteria to become eligible for financial assistance under this scheme:

| 1 | Government Employee/pensioner | No family member should be a government employee or Government pensioner. The families of Sanitary workers are exempted. |
| 2 | Vehicle | The applicant shall “own” and “drive” an Auto rickshaw / Taxi / Maxi Cab and the vehicle shall be in the possession of the owner. |
| 3 | Driving License | The applicant shall possess a valid driving licence to drive Auto rickshaw / Light Motor vehicle. |
| 4 | Income Tax | No family member should be an income tax payee. |
| 5 | Municipal property | Land in municipal area should be Less than 1000 sq. feet of Residential/Commercial built-up area. |
| 6 | Land Holding | Should be less than 3 acres wet/ 10 acres dry/ 10 acres wet & dry land. |
| 7 | Reruired Documents | Aadhar CardBPL / white ration Card / Annapurna Card / Antyodaya Card.Driving licence to drive Auto rickshaw / Light Motor vehicle.Active bank account in the name of the owner of the vehicle |
| 8 | Electricity Consumption | The average consumption of a family in the last 12 months should not exceed 300 units per month. |
