100 ROSTER POINTS RULE OF RESERVATION IN PROMOTION IN TELANGANA AP

The 100 roster points reservation system is a system used to reserve government jobs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for certain categories of people, such as Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and women. The system is based on a cycle of 100 points, with each point representing a specific category. For example, SCs are allocated 15 points, STs are allocated 6 points, OBCs are allocated 29 points, and women are allocated 30 points.

When a government job becomes available, the appointing authority will assign a roster point to the job. The job will then be reserved for the category of person that corresponds to the roster point. For example, if a job is assigned a roster point of 15, it will be reserved for an SC candidate.

The 100 roster points reservation system is designed to ensure that all categories of people have a fair chance of being appointed to government jobs. The system is also designed to promote social justice and equality.

How to Calculate Roster Points

The roster points for each category of person are as follows:

  • SCs: 15 points
  • STs: 6 points
  • OBCs (A): 4 points
  • OBCs (B): 10 points
  • OBCs (C): 14 points
  • OBCs (D): 18 points
  • Women: 30 points
  • To calculate the roster points for a specific job, you will need to know the category of the person who is being appointed to the job. Once you know the category, you can simply multiply the number of points for that category by the number of available roster points. For example, if a job is being appointed to an SC candidate and there are 100 available roster points, the roster points for the job would be 150.

How to Maintain a 100 Roster Points Register

A 100 roster points register is a document that is used to track the allocation of roster points to government jobs. The register should include the following information:

  • The number of available roster points
  • The category of the person who is being appointed to the job
  • The roster points for the job
  • The register should be updated whenever a new job is appointed. The register is an important document that can be used to ensure that the 100 roster points reservation system is being implemented fairly.
